Liberty Christian Academy East Leaves For Costa Rica
February 4, 2010
They left Thursday morning at 7 a.m. from Port Columbus
International Airport in Ohio.  They will be helping construct the floor
and foundation of a new church building for the indigenous Indian
village of Salitre.  They have been worshiping God for years under
a tin roof with six tree posts and have been praying for God to bless
them with a church building.  LCA East raised $2,700 to help them
fulfill their dream.  LCA will be ministering in Costa Rica by
conducting dental training for the Indian children, visiting an
orphanage, distributing food as well as many other acts of love and
service.  Please pray for them as this new school takes their first
mission trip ever.  The group is being facilitated by Impulse
employee Jennifer Brooks.

October 21, 2009
Shane Suggs, youth pastor of First Church, is leading his church
in its first international mission trip to Costa Rica.  It is scheduled
for July 29 - August 5 of 2010.  This is a big step for the church
but God will provide and do great things through this trip.  If you
would like to come along and join Shane, the good folks of
First Church and others who have a heart for missions,
contact us.  Mission trips change people from a "my"
mentality to a "we" mentality.  Remember, we're all in this for
the
KINGDOM!

Dental Mission Trip Needed
Columbus OH - October 5, 2009
According to Elliot Quarter, missionary to the indigenous Indian tribes
around Buenos Aires, Costa Rica, one of the greatest needs the Indians
have right now is dental work.  This would include education for the
children and adults on dental maintenance as well as filling cavities,
cleaning teeth and many other greatly needed care.  If you are a dentist
of dental hygienist and  would like to go on this trip, please contact us as
soon as possible.  The cost will be around $700 plus airfare from your
location. We will also need LOTS of toothpaste and tooth brushes as well as other dental supplies.  If you know of
someone that might be able to help or go on this trip, please pass this information on to them. The need is great!  Please
pray for God's direction for your part in this humanitarian endeavor.

Check-out our July Costa Rica Trip Bog
Columbus OH - July 8, 2009
It is so good to be home!  While we miss our new friends in Costa Rica, we are happy to come back home and share
what we have learned.  Our trip consisted of so many good times and also a few rough times, but overall it was an
amazing trip.  We became very close with the people in the church and the Indigenous Indians.  Giving food and clothing
was amazing, but we were given even more.  God revealed so much to each one of us.  As we come back, we pray that
we remember all that God has taught us.  We hope to be changed people.  Thank you to all the people that supported us
financially and prayerfully. We appreciate you all so much!
Until the next mission trip!        Malaria Helman

We Have The Money!!!!
Columbus OH - June 2, 2009
Thanks to the faithful and generous friends of Impulse, $10,000 has been raised to add classrooms on the back of the El
Cajun church in Costa Rica.  We originally debated about waiting until later this year because the money was not coming
in. God provided in a big way.  The classrooms will be used for Sunday School, Bible studies and a future Bible Institute
and Seminary. Some of those going on the mission trip June 30 - July 7 will be helping with the construction.  It's not too
late if you would like to go and help.  Contact us
TODAY for information.
